# Account creation

In order to use the Trusted Twin platform, you need to create a free account through our Self-care panel(opens new window).

When you create an account in the panel, a Super Admin User Secret (API key) is generated together with a Super Admin role and a Super Admin user. The Super Admin User Secret (API key) will allow you to authenticate on the Trusted Twin platform and create new roles and users.

# Signing up

You can create a Trusted Twin Account through the Self-care panel(opens new window) with an email or with a Google Account.

# Sign up with email

  1. Go to the sign up page(opens new window).
  2. Enter your email address and click on the Continue with email button.
  3. Go to your inbox. You should have received an email with the subject "Your account creation request for Trusted Twin".
  4. Open the email and click on the Continue button. Please note that the activation link is valid for 30 minutes.
  5. On the Finish creating your account page, enter you name, company, choose your position from the drop-down menu, and (optionally) type in the intention for using the Trusted Twin platform.
  6. Click on the Create an account button and wait a few moments for the Super Admin User Secret (API key) to generate.
  7. Click on the copy icon to copy the Super Admin User Secret (API key).
  8. Save the Super Admin User Secret (API key) in a secure place.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The User Secret (APi key) is displayed only once. It is not stored in the Trusted Twin system, and it cannot be retrieved. Keep your User Secret stored in a secure place. If you lose your User Secret, the User Secret generation process will need to be started from the beginning.

  1. Check the box by the confirmation message ("I confirm that I have saved the Super Admin User Secret in a secure place.")
  2. Click on the Confirm button to proceed to the Self-care panel.

# Sign up with Google Account

  1. Go to the sign up page(opens new window).
  2. Click on the Continue with Google button.
  3. On the next page, sign in to your Google Account.
  4. On the Finish creating your account page, enter you name, company, position, and (optionally) the intention for using the Trusted Twin platform.
  5. Click on the Create an account button and wait a few moments for the Super Admin User Secret (API key) to generate.
  6. Click on the copy icon to copy the Super Admin User Secret (API key).
  7. Save the Super Admin User Secret in a secure place.
